I have been slowly trying to develop a distinct style. I range from somber black and white portraits to thick line drawn cartoons, styles at opposite ends of the spectrum. I think I have finally stumbled upon a happy medium that I can live with. A style that closely resembles reality, but has exaggerated touches and distorted proportions that push it over the edge to surreal and slightly cartoony. I'm happy so far. Let's see where this takes me!
