I'm many things... 26. Mother. Dedicated. Wife. Creative. Graphic Designer. Artistic. Crafter. Self-employed. Weird.
I have what they call an artistic soul. If it has to do with art, I will try it and probably love it. Since winning an Easter Egg drawing contest in the 2nd grade I knew I wanted to be an artist.
At 17 I was accepted at Kutztown University as a Studio Art major. Fearing the fate of a starving artist, I later transferred and completed my degree in Graphic Design and Multimedia Production.
In the 5 years since, I have worked successfully as an in-house Designer for many companies. But alas, my husband's Army career has made stable employment impossible, and I have recently turned to freelance graphic design and selling crafts to keep me sane.
My family and I are currently stationed at Fort Huachuca, AZ.
Unless you're a designer or illustrator, this may not make sense to you..... This hilarious video is a parody on what we designers go through, and touches on just how ridiculous it would be if you would pose the same questions they ask us to other real world vendors. (Eating a meal, then saying you didn't budget for its cost is just as silly as receiving a completed website and saying you didn't budget for its cost.) Contract or no, there is always some that will try to make you work for free!
